open burning permit requirements
Open Burn permits are available 7 days a week from 8 am to 5 pm and there is no charge for the permit.
You must notify the Golden Shores Fire Department on the day you wish to burn.
All brush piles shall be no larger than 3 feet by 3 feet in size.
Water supply MUST be available and accessible.
You must own the property or have permission from the property owner to burn.
Correct address must be posted and visible from the street.
Burn barrels are not permitted and will not be used.
Constant supervision is required during entire open burn.
LIST OF MATERIALS THAT MAY GENERATE NOXIOUS OR TOXIC FUMES OR PRODUCTS OF COMBUSTION ARE NOT TO BE BURNED WITH AN OPEN BURN PERMIT!!!!!
